At Fab&Fix, we give the smallest details our full attention to ensure we deliver a perfect product to every door and window.
Every product is packaged with the same attention to detail that we use during the manufacture process. All parts are supplied with fixings and in separate chambers where applicable to ensure no scratching of parts during transit. There's nothing worse than a beautiful handle and different coloured screws. With Fab&Fix, all our screwheads coordinate with the hardware.
We know that all doors are not the same, which is why our door handles are supplied with a wider backplate to suit cylinder guards. Care instructions are supplied with every product to ensure that the hardware is maintained in optimal condition. Supplied fully assembled so there's no need to fit springs or levers.

Five years in development, Hardex finishes offer exceptional resilience and durability.
It all starts with the expertise of our design engineers and tool makers – only the most refined castings make the grade for a Hardex coat. Time is then of the essence, it takes over 24 hours to perfect a single handle. Meticulous preparation of the surface material is followed by a complex series of chemical baths, each submersion calculated to the second. Now the product is ready for Hardex to be applied before curing in extreme temperatures. It's a lot of effort but we hope you'll agree it's worth it.

Testing beyond salt spray.
We know that when a door or window looks great, it needs to stay that way, so it's imperative our products lead the way in anti-corrosion and performance standards.
The key to this enhancement is Hardex, an invisible skin that creates unmatchable resilience. We invented Hardex, which can withstand up to 1000 hours of Prohesion corrosion testing, to encapsulate the perfection of Fab&Fix hardware.
Unlike other manufacturers that use standard salt spray testing, our Prohesion testing delivers realistic, superior results that are more representative of outdoor corrosion than results from salt spray. Whilst salt spray testing is good for testing one product against another, it's known for not showing true to life performance as effectively as Prohesion.
At Fab&Fix, we vigorously test every product in accelerated testing conditions to ensure that they consistently meet and go beyond your requirements.
Many manufacturers use salt spray as their quality test, but Fab&Fix go one step further to use Prohesion testing, which was designed to better replicate real-life weather conditions.
While salt spray testing shows how one product will perform against another that has the same metallic content, it doesn't show how it would perform in real-life weather conditions.

All Fab&Fix products are guaranteed for 10 Years against function issues caused through defective materials or workmanship and against any finish degeneration due to weather.

Security Guarantee.
It's not all about the aesthetics, Fab&Fix products also benefit from a Total Security Guarantee which gives complete piece of mind. Fit a combination of products to achieve Total Door or Total Window security and benefit from the ERA Total Security Guarantee.
If a break in did happen, we would replace the damaged window or door and pay £5000 to the homeowner as compensation. We would even increase this to £10,000 if the home also had an ERA HomeGuard or ERA Invincible Alarm fitted.
